Usana Scam? Read An Outsider's Perspective on Usana Success

Congratulations on doing your due diligence and finding this Usana review. if you’re going to join any network marketing company it is very important to make sure that you pick the right one. You need to choose one based on its compensation plan, quality of the products, and reputation of the management just to name a few key points. In this review we will expose whether there is a Usana fraud, a Usana scam, or a Usana pyramid scheme.

Usana was founded by Dr. Myron Wentz in 1992 and by 1996 the company had gone public. Dr. Wentz earned a PhD from Utah University. he started the company with a dream of a world free of pain, suffering, and disease. Dave Wentz is now the CEO of the Usana MLM company. Usana is a very large marketing Corporation that topped $427 million in 2007. The company’s headquarters are in Salt Lake City, Utah where they have built a large amphitheater.

Usana is a health and wellness company that markets products in health and nutrition, weight control, and personal hygiene to name a few. Usana vitamins products are of very high quality and that even has been the sponsoring product of various sports teams and events. Some of Usana Health’s most popular brands are Macro-Optimizer foods, Rev3 Energy drinks, Sensé Basics and Enhancers, and Essentials and Optimizers nutritional supplements.

Let’s now take a look at Usana Health Sciences Inc.’s support and training. Unfortunately for most Usana representatives when I searched for Usana training the best thing I could find was Success Team International. This is a very Amway type website where a leadership team is selling business cards, online training tools, and other merchandise and business tools. I’m sorry, but this really gets to me when I see leadership teams trying to profit from their downline by selling them useless crap. People are fooled into believing that just by spending a bunch of money on business tools that they will reach their goals faster.

So, why am I so against the business tools? Well, because they’re not tools at all. They’re simply logo T-shirts, pamphlets and flyers which they expect you to wear and throw out your family and friends at all steps along the way. This does not work! When I first began in the industry I bought into this, the key word here being bought. I wasted so much money on flyers and DVDs, which aren’t bad, if you give them to the right people. But the right people are not your family, friends and coworkers. Those people do not want anything to do with Usana or any other company for that matter. They just aren’t looking to start a business. You need to find and target people who actually want to start a business and are looking for what you have to offer.

So, what do I consider a business tool? For starters, how about a book to learn some marketing skills. Or, a website in which to get people interested in you. That’s right you want to get people interested in you not the company do business with. The fact that 97% of people in network marketing fail is very shocking. But when you look at the reasons why it just makes sense, they are talking to the wrong people!

At this point it should be clear that there is no Usana scam.  Just the fact that they are a publicly traded company would bust that myth.

However…

Now you must make a choice.  Are you going to try to muttle through.  Chase after you family members until you’re not invited to another get together.  OR!  Are you going to Take Action and learn the necessary skills to Actually Be Successful in MLM?!  Either way… It’s Up To YOU!  If you decide that you want to put you business on the right track then fill out one of the forms on this page and be ON YOUR WAY TO THE LIFE YOU DESERVE!

All of your complaints about Usana are wrong. The training is available, and is free, online, directly from the office website that all Usana associates receive. You wouldn't find that by simply searching on the internet; it is explained in a presentation, which is all Usana associates get started. The STI website you discussed is simply one of the many teams in Usana, and is, by the way, an extremely successful team. Buying the t-shirts and other extras you described is discretionary for any associate; but many see those items as beneficial marketing and prospecting aides. All Usana associates also receive a very comprehensive business kit with many training tools in it. Usana also offers several weekly webcasts as other opportunities for free training. All of this indicates just one of the reasons why, in addition to having the top-ranked nutritional products, Usana is so stellar in the industry, and has been voted the #1 opportunity in network marketing each year since 1997 - MLM Insider.com / Network Marketing Today magazine.

Hey Freeda, Thanks for the comment. I agree with you that training can be found with Usana and many other companies. However, that training leads to only 3% of people every making any money. And it is all stuff that people don't like to , or are deathly afraid of doing. Like approaching strangers or hunting down friends and family. So yes, I agree that Usana is a good opportunity, but the fact is... if you want success in Usana, or any MLM company for that matter. You have to learn how to market. Thanks again, Nick
